Class poem: Walls

These classroom walls
Are very grey.
I sometimes wonder
If they we're ever red
Or maybe blue...
I would like to
Put glitter sparkles
On the bland grey
Walls.

Amazed By Nature

A time that I was astonished by nature would be the time I had finally been out in the open after being inside for a 5-day trip this summer. I had left the flight academy and my family and I went to Pensacola beach. The water was so beautiful and I could see right through it. My little sister caught a large hermit crab with a pretty green shell, but we eventually let it go. The sky, water, and sand blended together so well. While I was staring at it all, I eventually fell asleep for a while. The sound of the waves and the music my mom was playing was very soothing. Once night time came, we were on the way back to Mobile when we were looking up at the sky and we saw a lot of stars. It was the most amazing this I ever saw.
